The yearning to know more of the Life of The Christ, Jesus, brought the author to search for the answer to the 18 years missing of his life.

Shortly into the seeking the number 7 was repeatedly brought to my attention. I felt this came about for a reason, so I pursued a search into the use of 7. It did not take long to realize the most prolific use of 7 as in the Holy Bible. The holy books of five other religions contain 7 numerous times. Out of this 7 became a theme, along with God, and with salvation. My search ended in 1974 when I heard of The Avatar of The Age, Meher Baba. He is the Christ returned and I began a study of his writings and work, which have a greater use of 7. His role of being The Awakener was revealed to me when he came to my bedroom in a vision. Two months later I was at his tomb shrine, and one day I became unconscious of my surroundings. I was taken to a heaven where only love existed, it was so powerful and so beautiful. The awakening of divine love is an experience beyond the mind. Meher Baba referred to these experiences as "a glimpse of God." He said "search for God within, and you will find the only treasure worth finding."

The chapters on Meher Baba reveal the theme of creation and its purpose, explaining the evolution of forms with evolution of consciousness, reincarnation to experience God's imagination, and involution to work through 7 heavens along the path home to God.

About the Author

Harry Ossian Stoddard was born one month after the stock market crash in 1929 as the seventh child, and grew up on the family farm in SC. He is a graduate of The Citadel (1951) and served as an army officer in Korea. Later he received an Engineering degree in 1956 at the University of South Carolina and persuaed a 40-year career as an application and sales engineer to the commercial, industrial, and power industries.

Following an unsettling heart situation he directed his efforts to be more helpful in all phases of life. This led him into a deeper religious and spiritual interest and activity. Turning within led to more meaningful spiritual experiences and eventually led to being a follower of The Avatar of The Age Meher Baba. The awakening of divine love within was the greatest experience of his life. He traveled several times to visit the tomb shrine of Meher Baba, the powerhouse of the universe, in Meherabad, India.

In recent years he had the blessed opportunity to work at the Meher Spiritual Center, Meher Baba's Western Home,"in Myrtle Beach, SC. "The blessings have been far greater than I could have ever imagined."
