About the Author

Wendy Miller recently retired as a Supervisor from the State of Connecticut, after 17 years of service with the Department of Mental Retardation. Wendy Miller worked with the Department of Children and Families largely taking in infants and small children. She is the mother of four biological, two adopted children, and two grandchildren, she has substantial experience raising and entertaining children. A native of New Jersey, writing since the age of five, she wrote her first place winning song in Neptune High School, and received media recognition. She has since published poetry in many books and magazines. Mrs. Miller has just released her first novel Living Hell written for a mature audience.

She is currently writing a children's series entitled Kabugies and The Donovan Cat's Presents. The Kabugie series are not only entertaining, but also teaches a moral slant discouraging bullying, lying and stealing etc. The Donovan Cats teach toddlers how to count in the "Teach Me Toddlers" series entitled "Mommy I Can Count." As the Toddler progresses through my series he/she will be assisted to achieve autonomy.
