In Apocalypse Unleashed!, Dr. Wytenbroek looks at the biblical Book of Revelation, one of the most mysterious accounts of the end of the world, and interprets it in light of today's environmental and global reality. The book attempts to speak to both today's Christian community and the general population by discussing hoe the Book of Revelation applies to us all, no matter who we are or where we live, and how it makes sense of what is happening today. Apocalypse Unleashed! argues that, in fact, the apocalypse has already begun, although it is in its early stages. This means that while some of the calamities warned about in Revelation can no longer be avoided, some may be either avoided or ameliorated to lessen their impact upon human life and the life of Earth itself.

About the Author

Dr. J.R. Wytenbroek is a college professor, scholar and activist whose life-long interest in the biblical Book of Revelation, together with her work on both environmental and human rights issues, prompted her to approach the topic of the Apocalypse from a totally new perspective. She lives on a small farm with an assortment of sheep, llamas and chickens.
