About the Book

Strong Enough for a Man by Rebecca McFadden has taken a spiral path upward. Not only does it rise to the occasion at Barnes & Noble, but it's also Dancing, Leaping and Jumping for joy at Morehouse College - the very same college where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had his dream. And with Trafford's continuous support of Another Excellent Writer (ANEW), I honestly believe - It can fly.

The book focuses on relationship issues from a female perspective and is making a noticeable difference in life. It tells people when to love and when to let love go. Plus, it promotes the importance of a quality education. It was also featured in the Author's South Carolina hometown, for the entire month of February, in honour of Black History Month. Even the famous motivational speaker, Les Brown, said, "there's something about her writing that touched me."

Strong Enough for a Man has taken New York by storm, with her paws raised slightly above excellent. People are now bucking like wild stallions just to get it. And readers who bought it are saying, "her intellectual genius remains with you forever! No wonder it took New York by storm." It is the only book on the market of its kind, where lucky readers can actually win it, or get a nice cash prize; while others will pay $14.95 USD with a smile. Winner names will also be listed in the Author's upcoming novel entitled Surfing to Find the One.

Strong Enough for a Man is also available through Barnes & Noble.

Excerpts

Page XIII - She doesn't spend time complaining because she knows there is "Greatness in everyone." Life is too short to be unhappy. Her favorite color might be blue, but she ain't "Feeling Blue." This proud woman may sometimes appear as a passenger in the backseat; but rest assured, she is really driving the car. Others know her as the good woman behind the good man, for she is capable of taking on many roles. She knows there are a lot of lonely hearts out there in this world, but she ain't one of them. Her happiness comes from within. She has perfected the art of loving herself and suggests you do the same. Yes, she is indeed "Strong enough for a Man" because she has a powerful mind and strength in her strong-understanding hands.

Page 35 - If there were "No you and me," life would be a bore. No finger snapping, couple laughing simply put - nothing happening. I would be one lonely icicle teardrop hanging from swollen-puffy eye, in cold shady world without warm-hearted you to love me.

Page 38 - Can I be your good woman behind my good Man? Or, am I not woman enough? Or do you think I am?

Page 72 - Well, you know how some city folks are; they talked about it near and far. Some suspected my Daddy was crazy, to sacrifice the life of his lady. Others wondered if it were an accident? Perhaps, he really wasn't innocent. They chatted about it at the corner store. On church pews, little-old-women gossiped more. A few people defended him, for they truly thought highly of Jim. But many wondered why he didn't cry; or kiss his wife at the funeral goodbye? They peeped out their windows at him. Some whispered, "is that fine-looking woman walking with Jim?" They made his life a living hell - but Jim knew the truth, and wouldn't tell.
