About the Book

Poetic Laughter is a book that grasps poetry in one hand and humour in the other. Some of the poems will not only make you spit your morning coffee all over the person in front of you, but will also make you say to yourself, hey not all poetry is about romance and dark depression for would-be martyr's, this is down, hey, why haven't I read this stuff sooner? Well it's never too late to enjoy reading, so sit down, relax, and get a smile upon that face, and enjoy a humorous look at life through Ben McGowan and other talented poet's words of allpoetry.com.

About the Author

Ben McGowan was born in the county of Kent (referred to as the Garden of England) and lived most of his life in a town called Seven Oaks. He moved to the United States in August 2001, where he is currently residing in Charleston, South Carolina. Although he misses his family, friends, relatives and the beautiful English countryside, he feels Charleston is his home now.
