About the Author

John Schaub has written articles for many publications such as RSES, Sam's manual, Carrier and York to name a few. John's 60-year carrier spanned from Kramer Trenton's assembly line in the 40's to working as Worthington's chiller start up specialist for the Eastern United States. During time with Worthington he designed and created the first portable all glass refrigeration systems in the world. The collaboration of his years in the business have been a true work in progress with the help of his son Rich Schaub relating to professional photography (Superior Images Inc.) and his son Jack Schaub - now owner of John's 30 year service business John C. Schaub Inc. John Schaub has a true passion for his work and an even greater passion to pass on that knowledge to the many interested service technicians around the world.
