About the Book
What I Really Love Most is to Ride on Dad's Shoulders describes the joy of a young girl who visits many places around the world while riding on her Dad's shoulders. From North Carolina to New York City, Paris, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Australia, Austria, Mexico, Chile and Brazil, and finally back home again, the experiences and memories are extra special when they are seen from high atop on Dad's shoulders. Although at the beginning of the story the shoulder ride was a "secret" between the young girl and her Dad, the child unselfishly realizes that the uplifting beauty of their "secret" is best shared with others around the world. The shoulder ride results in an incredible and loving bond between the father and daughter, while others are moved by the sight of the joy that emanates from this simple act. It is hoped that others become inspired to share the gift of a shoulder ride with underprivileged and deprived children including the orphaned, abused, neglected, handicapped and ill. In return, as the Dad proclaims at the end, the shoulder ride proves to be equally joyful and rewarding for adults.
