About the Book

A LEARN-TO-SPELL PROGRAM TO HELP SPELLERS FROM GRADE 3 TO JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN 15 MINUTES A DAY

The ability to spell is essential for success in our competitive world of information and global communication. Sharing the Secrets is designed for parents who are concerned about their child's progress in this vital skill.

How can this book help? Studies have shown that 60% of our everyday communication is based on just 200 words. Sharing the Secrets will help you teach your child to spell those 200 words (and many, many more) in units that begin with simple one-syllable words and build to compound words, homonyms, and other English spelling patterns that often baffle students. In sessions designed to last just 15 minutes a day, your child will learn to recognize common spelling patterns and gain a skill that will last a lifetime.
