About the Book

Type, size, location and seasonality of a property are only a few of many aspects which need to be considered before starting the actual search. Lifestyle, financial resources, together with the prior work experience of prospective buyers set the stage for a successful search process. Knowing what you can manage and what you can afford will cut down the search in terms of both the cost and the time associated with it.

The booklet is intended to guide you through the process: what to look out for and where to ask questions specific to the property, the area and the state you intend to purchase in.

Every buyer is different, just as every property is unique!

Most subjects are discussed in a broad sense and are intended to inform you that these could be issues which might apply to your purchase.

The book is also used by Lighthouse DMC as the primary source at the seminars for prospective innkeepers. Visit www.hospitalitymarketplace.com for more information on the seminar's pricing, dates and locations.

During the seminars each topic will be discussd in much greater depth and questions specific to actual situations can be addressed.
