About the Author

I have spent a lot of my life overweight. I found the power to change the excess baggage I've been carrying is by changing my lifestyle. Eating too much as a child and eating more than when I was hungry continued to put my weight on a see saw, and my health at risk. After discovering all that I had to do, I wanted to share that with the world of people who had weight problems, like I did.

I will not make any financial gains from this book as all of the proceeds that I would have received will go directly to the Red Cross for the benefit of the victims of the tsunami.

Excerpts

Because I was fat, and I'm still overweight according to standards, I will talk about fat people, because I have the right. You've seen paraplegic comedians, poke fun at themselves, you've seen ethnic groups and gay groups, all do spins on their own creed, well-I was fat when I was young, with a destiny of being fat all my life. If you cry because you've been teased because you were a chub, maybe you should be shedding some tears. People cry at weddings for various reasons, people cry during divorce. Many different events have taken the spray to the face from the eye; go ahead. Think of all the times you've boo-hooed because people made fun of you. But you weren't really in pain, or you would have done something about it! You see fat doesn't determine whether you have friends or not, it's your character. But this isn't a personality book, it's a get that fat off book, so I won't focus on anything but getting you to where you need to be and that is THINNER!

There is no delicate way to approach this matter, except head on, like anything else. If you are fat, you know you are fat, let's not kid ourselves here. Being fat is similar to having a gambling attachment or an alcohol or drug dependency. Maybe not as, but in the same family for the damage it can do to you. And I'm not here to argue with anyone, because you may be a drug caught alcoholic, and probably think that fat is the least of your problems, but I would beg to differ with you, but we don't have the time, if you want to get started. Each moment you keep from taking the first step, the longer you are going to remain extra heavy, and we don't want that, do we?

You are selfish as a child and it's a good thing, in that scheme of things. But we are taught, "not to be selfish", where in life, sometimes you have to be selfish for your own sake and survival.

If every human on earth, ate like most of the wildlife, to live, the profit machines would break down. Eat wisely and live longer.
