About the Book

Annie May is 93 years old and staying with her great-grandaughter, Ellen, as she grows weaker from the cancer that is gnawing at her insides. When Ellen leaves the room Annie May begins to pray. She prays that God will take away her fear of dying.

Annie May finishes her prayer and opens her eyes to discover her deceased husband, Benjamin, standing at her bedside. He has come to answer her prayers, to ease her fears and help her make the transition to the next world. Benjamin begins by leading Annie May on a wonderful journey to her past.

Follow Annie May back to age 10 and then through the years of her life. Return with her to her deathbed, where Benjamin reveals to her the wonders of Heaven. Thrill with her as she witnesses the first glimpse of the joys that await her. And finally, feel the glow as Annie May exudes a new peace.



About the Author

Georgianne (Jan) Coburn was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. As a child, she spent many wonderful summers at her grandparents' farm in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Jan married her childhood sweetheart, Jimmie, at age 17 and they recently celebrated their 43rd. wedding anniversary. Jan and Jim now make their home in Fort Myers, Florida. They are blessed with four wonderful sons and 14 beautiful grandchildren.

While compiling a book about her life for her grandchildren, Jan discovered her love of writing. On Angel Wings is Jan's first novel.

"Have I gone and passed away?"

"No, my darling, you are still very much alive," Benjamin answered, smiling down at Annie May as she lay there on the hospital bed. "I have come to help you make that transition."
