About the Book

Utilizing the movements developed over 90 years ago by Joseph Pilates, women can gently stretch and strengthen muscles leaving them leaner and longer. Instead of compartmentalizing the body by training individual parts, Pilates trains the body to work together in synergy. While the exercises will improve flexibility, strength and balance, all essential for a good golf swing, more importantly the mind-body aspect of Pilates training will enhance the focus, concentration and confidence necessary to become an accomplished golfer. Along with this simple and practical exercise routine, the authors provide some unconventional thoughts and tips to help the modern day women compete with their spouses.

About the Author

Lorna Squyer, M.Ed., 51, is a nationally certified strength and conditioning specialist and certified Pilates instructor. Peter Squyer, registered nurse, has been married to Lorna for 26 years. They have raised two daughters. He has been treading estrogen most of his life and doesn't mind getting beat by the women (especially if they tie him up first).
