About the Book
Saving Grape-Ella is Episode Two of the Jape The Grape Ape From Outer Space series of picture books for young children. The adventure takes place in outer space when Grape-Ella, queen of the Planet of the Grapes is captured along with Grape, the grape dog from outer space and taken to the Planet Hya by the Flying Karate Monkeys.

About the Author
Jape Payette is originally from Rhode Island and currently resides in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Jape has been an actor for over 20 years, as well as a songwriter and playwright, and now adds children*s picture book writer to his list of credits. Jape has been working with children all his life in various capacities, including drama teacher and director in classrooms, workshops and camp settings. Jape has taught drama to all ages from preschool through high school and even adults.
