Born in Baker, Oregon when the sun was traversing Sagittarius, schooled in Portland, Oregon, Alexandra Schiller currently resided in Boise, Idaho, where she follows a yogic lifestyle of voluntary simplicity, writing, painting, folkdancing, biking; frequently joining friends for Mahjong, Scrabble, dinner, or a pro-peace demonstration.

Her impressive achievements in the arts include:

Playwright - of four plays written, two have been produced.

Poet - former poetry editor of Mensa Bulletin.

Artist - oil on stretched canvas paintings have been shown in three western U.S. states; her dancing raisin illustrations for "The Raisin-Eater" were adopted by the raisin for mass-media promotion use.

Author - "The Raisin-Eater" children's fiction book; former columnist for The Paper (Monterey, CA); miscellaneous freelance stories and essays for a variety of periodicals.

Member - of the Dramatists Guilld and American Mensa.
