About the Book

This book is different from most books about job interviewing. Get The Job! Focuses almost entirely on the questions most commonly asked during an interview, and provides suggested answers or an approach, for answering the questions if there is no one right answer. Additionally, Get The Job! Will help readers to be focused and clear on why they are choosing a specific career field and why they are interviewing with specific companies. In short, this book will help readers deal with the issues that are critical to success in job interviewing.

About the Author

The author is an adjunct professor of marketing at The Stern School of Business at New York University, and the Hagan School of Business at Iona College, where he has taught Advertising Management and Marketing Management for six years. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice-President at one of the largest and most successful advertising agencies in the world. He was in the advertising business for 30 years and during that time, interviewed hundreds of job applicants. This background and his many discussions with his students inspired him to write this book in order to help young people with the difficult process of job interviewing.

The author has a bachelor's degree from Lafayette College, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration in marketing from New York University. He has written hundreds of business papers, presentations, marketing plans, a thesis, syllabi, lesson plans, and speeches. Professor Seal lives in Hartsdale, New York with his wife and, thankfully, his two grown children nearby.
