About the Book

This writing is coming about on the heels of my first novelette which was compiled in a state of hypomania; it consumed my thought process and possessed me for months until completion. Something quite different is taking shape and I never imagined that this would be part of my daily existence. An average day was one chock full of chores, work and play.

However, someone or something has aligned my chakras and I can no longer rest my mind or resist the keyboard. This is bringing about contentment and an awareness as it is unfolding inside of me. I would like to invite you to come along in the exploration of this territory; it is being written as revealed with no forethought or malicious intent. Finding the barn door wide open now, I am just a spirit on the run and you may form your own opinion at its conclusion.

Surrender is the door one must pass through to find passion.

-Deepak Chopra

This is my second writing. The first book is entitled Snapshots in Black and White.

About the Author

I am older now, Carl Jung refers to this as...
The second half of life.

I am no longer in possession of that purple decanter. Keeping my sights open for that rose colored glass... it has eluded me like the Holy Grail.

It was not for me to have and I am grateful that I never found it. All that is precious to me is no longer tangible. Come to think about it; nothing ever was.

The cover photo is one of a Fenton vase which belonged to my beloved Sara. I came upon it while writing; the book was already in progress.

Silenced by disease; this is her voice.

A human relationship is not based on differentiation and perfection, for these only emphasize the differences or call forth the exact opposite: it is based rather, on imperfection, on what is weak, helpless and in need of support-the very ground and motive for dependence. The perfect have no need of others, but weakness has, for it seeks support and does not confront its partner with anything that might force him into an inferior position.

I have dedicated my life's work to her memory. My plan is to continue to do so.

This is my contribution.
