About the Book

This book communicates the love of God for children (and we "grownups" too) by words and pictures that show the meanings behind Biblical truths. Good teaching embraces three levels: 1st the three dimensional, 2nd the iconic, and 3rd the numeral. This books starts with the three dimensional common to a child's life. It lets a child know what love actually looks like, and thus teaches children how to recognize abuse, the opposite of love. I wrote this and other books to teach God's love to my Kindergarten students over thirteen years."

About the Author

Mary Gretsinger is a wife of thirty-seven years, mother of three, grandmother of three, and teacher with a teaching degree from Simon Fraser University.
Mary wrote this and other stories for the children and adults in her life when she couldn't find books like this one in any bookstore or library.
Owen Goward is an award-winning designer and musician. For many years he has applied his creative energies to a variety of projects in both art and music involving graphic design, illustration and original soundtracks.
Owen Goward received his degree in Fine Arts at the University of Victoria, graduating with distinction in 2002. Since that time he has been busy working as a graphic designer, illustrator, piano teacher, and music director for his local church.
Owen lives in Brentwood bay, BC, with his beautiful wife and two amazing children.
