About the Book

The Amazing Adventures of Hobo the Dog is a book for all ages of readers, from children to adults. It tells the story of Hobo, a Jack Russell Terrier, who has the courage and loyalty typical of the breed. Little Hobo finds himself in all kinds of predicaments, and through his persistence is able to weather all the storms of his life. The book teaches us how to treat animals, and enjoy them as well.



About the Author

Joanne Jurisch has raised Jack Russell terriers for over 20 years. She is an avid enthusiast of the breed. Some of her dogs that she has sold have been shown at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in Madison Square Garden.

She raised her eight children on a cattle ranch in the Badlands of South Dakota, where they all got to know and appreciate cattle, horses, and dogs.

She has written articles for dog magazines, and always dreamed of writing a book about her favorite breed - the Jack Russell terrier.
