About the Book

Young Mary Kate and Tina Connors live in Ohio with their parents and extended family. The time is right after World War II. Their father is a lieutenant in the United States Air Force, and their mother fills her days caring for her children. These two sisters find themselves innocently falling into one adventure after another.

Living their Catholic faith is woven throughout their adventures. Block rosaries, daily prayers and weddings are just samplings of how their faith is expressed. Although this book is a fun tale to read, it is also a way to understand how families can live their faith.

About the Author

Karen Poza is the author of the international best seller for teens on chastity called Saying No: The Way to Grow (Life Cycle Books). She holds a B.A. degree in Communication Arts from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.

Mrs. Poza is the oldest in a family of seven children, mother of three and grandmother of six. Her life experiences, along with teaching her Catholic faith to grade school children help her get into the minds of her audience to share their love of life, family and God.
