About the Book

The bond of a father and son and the understanding of a son who is there every minute for his Dad. The excitement of competition his father has each week and the dangers that can happen. Through it all they are by each others side and how the rest of the family is involved. The ability to build a racecar together and to enjoy the outcome - my son is the driver and I'm very proud of him.

About the Author

Growing up in New Jersey, my family made a living in auto racing. Many years ago selling race tires (they are special tires), my Dad (Steve) made a name for himself. He is in a history book of auto racing in our area. I always wanted to write and illustrate a children's book. The love of auto racing and my family's involvement gave me the opportunity to fulfill my dream. My Art degree gave me the opportunity to do the complete book myself. I have since lost my Dad in 1982, in 1999 with Hurricane Floyd lost my Dad's business, the building it was in, and my house. I know life is short and decided now is the time to fulfill my dream and complete a book about my son and grandson.
