About the Book
Buddy Goes to the Fire Station is a true story about a maltese dog named Buddy, that visits his local fire station. The book is written from his perspective and how he learns about fire safety, what fireman do, and how they know where to go when they get a call for help. The books' illustrations use vivid colors which captivate both young readers and adults. At the end of the book, there are fire safety tips to help educate young readers and their parents regarding fire safety.

About the Author
Sandra E. Meyer was born and raised in Coldwater, Ohio. She received a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters degree in Education from Regent University. In 1988, she received the "Outstanding Young Women of America for 1988" Award in recognition of "outstanding ability, accomplishments and service to the community." She taught school for fifteen years, teaching children from ages seven thru fourteen. Currently she teaches Sunday School class at her local church and she is employed at IBM in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The authors desire is to create a special love for dogs in small children by writing true and entertaining stories about her dog, Buddy. He is a small maltese and is very lively, loving and loyal. Her extreme love for Buddy has provided the inspiration for all of her books.
A "Meet Buddy" series is available on her web site and includes "Buddy Finds a Home", "Buddy Meets the Neighbors", "Buddy Goes to the Groomer", "Buddy Goes to the Doctor" and "Buddy Goes to Puppy Kindergarten".
