The Faith: The Unknown World of the Well Known Dogma

by Tier

283 pages; quality trade paperback (softcover); catalogue #05-0814; ISBN 1-4120-5913-5; US$21.50, C$24.73, EUR17.66, £12.36

The exploration of the forbidden, an unveiling of truth from behind a curtain of shadows, sanctity and distorted reality.

About the Book

The faith is a direct view of religious ideology. It's an exploratory look inside religious dogma and the thoughts and notions of the idea of "God" therein. It's a direct challenge to religion and the long held notions and ideals of that which is held sacred. From blind belief to rationality, this book contains a vast picture of what religion is and has become throughout society. From historical accounts of religious acts, through to theological ideals seen throughout religious texts, the basis of religion has been shown in such a way so as to make religion obsolete in a world of free thinkers.

About the Author

Tier spent most of his younger life experimenting with many things, but predominately his time was spent studying the occult, psychology, philosophy, and theology. After much persecution for his belief systems, Tier started to watch the mannerisms of different faiths, and began to question and illustrate the hypocritical tendencies of organized religion which were shown to him through the practice of a religious life, and that outside of religion. From theism to antitheism, Tier has experienced life on both sides of the religious debate, and through life experience has discovered the falsehoods and irrational notions surrounding faith and the subsequently dangerous ideas it leads to.
