About the Book & About the Author

This, is my first book, and is a scathing rebuke (a rant, if you will) of the modern industrial machine, as well as the United States Government, written from personal experience from "within the beast" as it were. Likewise, it serves as a podium from which countless other shared opinions may finally be voiced. Started as a "journal" of sorts, my emotions, experiences, joys, pains and triumphs are laid bare upon the ground for you to spit upon or peruse at your leisure. Honestly, this book, though arranged in numerically labeled chapters, is designed to be read in any order, at any pace, by any person.

As a nine year Navy man, I experienced a fair share of injustice, incongruous rule making, preaching, and all the while I watched as the american public destroyed or threw away what freedoms there were. This perspective was only exacerbated by the unique microcosm that is the US Submarine Force. Each person aboard any individual boat represents (in their own minds, if no other way) their respective "community" and are as such, spokesmen. I have attempted to represent each unique personality, however, this book does not attempt to be "PC" or rub any bellies, anything but "the wrong way".

As I said before, This was "started" as a journal and became my...er...soapbox. I do not apologize for what I have to say and trust that you will take it for what it is...a persons skewed beliefs and memories of his childhood leading up to the "event", interspersed with thoughts, poems and stories designed to decry the methods and morals of this "social experiment".
