About the Author
My name is Chevela Hunter-Greenway. I am a native Atlantan. Recently married, my husband's name is Melvin Greenway and we have no children. I am 40 years old and an only child. My parents are Morris and Joyce Hunter who both live in the city.
I discovered my writing abilities while taking some classes at Atlanta Technical College. The instructor assigned us to create a book using construction paper. I made an A on the assignment and my instructor made the statement that my shape book would be good to publish. After many years of back burner syndrome I finally had the courage to do it. Nine years later we have Colors and Shapes.
