About the Book

Beginning in Seattle on the Coast Starlight train, paraplegic Stan Morse sets out on and epic solo round-the-world odyssey. Sometimes not knowing where he will sleep the next night, Morse takes his very first scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef, fly fishes in New Zealand, challenges Bangkok's rough streets, and gets into a strange poker game with members of... well, you'll just have to discover yourself!

Morse set out to prove that great and wonderful adventures are not beyond the grasp of the disabled. He winds up showing everyone how fun life can be for anyone with the courage to find a way to do what others say is impossible.

About the Author

Stan Morse was born in 1954 in rural Washington State. A snow skiing accident at age 17 left him paralyzed from the waist down. Raised by a single mom, Morse completed law school seven years after becoming disabled. A published writer and photographer, Morse has now penned his first full-length non-fiction book.
