About the Author
Clark began writing fiction as an outlet from his duties as a full time caregiver for his wife of over 50 years after she became paralyzed from a rare disease called Central Nervous System Vascuslities three years ago.
Previously Clark had spent the past quarter of a century as an international traveler as a consultant and executive in the parking industry. His work took him to more than 60 countries on six continents.
Clark gained experience in the parking industry by serving as Director of Parking for the City of Hutchinson, Kansas; Assistant Director of Parking and Transportation for the University of Iowa; Parking Operations Specialist for an International Transportation Consulting Firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois; President and Vice President of the world’s largest manufacturer of parking meters and President of an International Parking Operations Company.
During his tenure as Vice President of the parking meter company he was awarded the “E” Award for Excellence in exporting from the President of the United States.
Clark’s travels have included serving as an instructor at the first international trade and marketing seminar in the Soviet Union and as Project Manager for a major parking and traffic study in Perth, Western Australia. Clark has been listed in Marquis Who’s Who in the World 1991 to 1999 and Who’s Who in America 1996 to 1999.
Clark’s first published novel Dangerous Food is available on line at any of the major booksellers or at most retail bookstores.
Clark and his wife live in Harrison, Arkansas, a small town in the Ozark Mountains located near Branson, Missouri.
