I was born into a big family. I come from a family of seven kids. You know we kept our parents busy. Our house was the corner house that everybody stopped by. There were only three blocks in our whole area. We had a blast. How our parents survived us I just don’t know. We did a lot of dangerous things as a kid that you can’t do now. Riding mini bikes and driving real fast on the street, with no helmet on. Riding bikes with no hands, going down hill real fast that was fun. Our parents had to take us to the hospital a lot. We were bad. I think we needed a Trauma Center then. Our family keeps growing. My parents I think now have 35 grandchildren. It just keeps getting bigger. When our immediate family gets together there is never enough room. We are a very close family. I thank God everyday for my family to keep them safe. My other family is the employees at San Jose Medical Center Hospital. I am an ER/ICU Tech. I enjoyed going to work. My co-workers were the best. It was a great Trauma Hospital. They were one in a million. It will never be the same again.
