About the Author
Elizabeth Lubin is a dog lover who lives in Huntington Beach, California. She was an elementary school librarian before writing a book of her own. "When I was working as a librarian there were no books in my library about shelter dogs and I knew this was a story that needed to be told." Elizabeth is a volunteer at the Orange County Humane Society and loves to hear that her book has inspired others to adopt a pet.
