About the Book

About the Author

Charles F. Maske was born in 1907 in Gary Indiana. He moved to Minnesota when he was a teen. Charles moved his family "west" to Oregon in 1953. Most of his poems ("stories") were written when he was older. 1940-1980. He died at 76 in 1983. Charles's legacy is not only these poems, but 6 children, 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
