About the Book

In an imaginary world where stuffed animals are more like real-live pets, Debby and her rambunctious Teddy Bear, named Sweetie Bear, spend the day at the local fair. Sweetie Bear gets to go on rides, eat treats, and meet other interesting animals and in general have an action-packed day. This full-color book features art on every page by talented illustrator Michael Wright.

About the Author

John Broback lives in Seattle and has a young niece and nephew who live in Woodinville Washington, and an adult niece and nephew who live in California and Virginia.

Broback was born with a learning disability that can make the adult world challenging to navigate at times, but he relates very well to kids. As Broback says, “Children are the most fun people to have around. They are so energetic, so very kind, and playful.”
