Jessie Landon thought he was just a normal boy. He played baseball, got into trouble, and had friends hat would die for him. However, when an army of assassins flies to Earth to kill him, Jessie is forced to receive a crash course of who he really is.
As heir to the throne of Peace, a planet that up until 60 years ago had no such thing as war, he is being hunted his only other rival, his own brother. Together with his raggy rebellions, weird dreams, and a secret power only he and his brother possess, he must return to Peace to destroy the evil army that has been hunting him for the last 16 years. He must find out for himself who he really is, and above all, whether or not he can actually bring himself to kill his brother, and retake the throne. In the end, the only thing he can be sure of is that he is anything but a normal boy.

About the Author
Joshua E. Starr was born in Oak Lawn, Illinois. A writer from the start, he wrote his first 20-page book at the age of six. He is currently in college and hopes to get degrees in both English and Math. He still resides in Illinois, where he works on the second book in the "Last Hope" series, Quest of the Elders.
