About the Book

Jump for Joy is a captivating picture storybook for children of all ages. It is a delightful story of a young girl's inspiring adventure at a Double Dutch skipping competition.

Thelma is 9 years old and like many children her age can be very judgmental. She enters the contest with a vibrant song, dance moves and her lucking skipping rope. Afia’s wittiness and Frank’s charm takes her by surprise. They rap, sing and what exciting joy it brings. With all the talent and fun going on, can Thelma still win? She learns a light-hearted lesson about self-esteem and humility. Everyone’s skipping routine is distinctly entertaining. Only one will win, who will it be.

Children will rhyme and sing-along. It is a short story and excellent to read over and over again. Unique and colourfully illustrated it has a great message for Elementary and Sunday Schools to share. It is a wonderful book and an ideal gift for young readers everywhere.

This book can be ordered on-line or by telephone through Trafford publishing, at amazon.com or purchased at a bookstore near you.
