About the Author

Tara M. Carreira grew up in Newark, California, to parents native of Great Britain, and as the oldest of four children. After a decade of intriguing travel and occupation, the author has returned to the Bay Area with her husband and is retreating from the workforce to focus on raising their family. Inspired by her young boy's early passion for golfing, Gavin the Golfer became the obvious choice for her debut children's book.
