About the Book

This book chronicles the highs and lows of daily life. There are poems about people, nature, and feelings. Some are memoirs or little happenings. Kindness and a gentle breeze of emotions will guide you all through this book.

About the Author

Elizabeth Anasir was born and brought up in a small Swiss village. She studied at the college Widemann in Basel, then worked as a secretary. Elizabeth immigrated to Canada with her Greek husband Efstathios in 1952, and learned English by daily living. She worked as a Trust Officer in a financial institution in Montreal and retired after thirty-five years of service. Her hobbies of painting, writing, and hooking rugs helped her cope after her dear husband passed away. Following the turbulent political time in Quebec and the 1995 referendum, she moved to Ottawa. there she added two more hobbies to her busy list of enjoyments: Gardening and moderating the "Writers Circle" at the Heron Road Seniors Centre. Her best ideas for writing and painting seem to come from listening to classical music. At present she is working on writing her memoirs of growing up in Switzerland.
