About the Book

An Invitation... invites the sensitive, concerned reader to reflect on how he or she lives their life. Through increased awareness doors open to other possibilities. The author uses his own nature photographs and a series of penetrating questions on various themes to invite simplicity and sensitivity in the reader.

The questions are systematically arranged to guide the reader to a deeper exploration and understanding of him or herself in relationship with the universe. The result is an open ended exploration that has no limits.



About the Author

Brian was born and raised in Toronto. He has always enjoyed the outdoors and physical activity. He has faced the critical illnesness of his two children until losing both, chronic illness himself and divorce.

He is retired from teaching and involved in numerous activities and interests. He has counselled and worked with bereaved parents. He is actively engaged with passions such as photography, running, cycling, swimming and cross-country skiing. Camping and hiking are also enjoyed during the summer months.

Brian enjoys a quiet, simple life grateful for what each day brings, and what he chooses to create. He lives with his wife Susan in Markham, Canada.
