About the Author
Mona Jules is a fluent speaker of the Secwepemc language, one of many Interior Salish languages spoken in the interior of BC. Mona has studied linguistics and language at Simon Fraser University in Kamloops, where she now teaches first year language classes. She first began working with the Secwepemc language in 1990.
