About the Book

A piglet (Donna) befriends a neighbouring calf (Daisy) whose family was enemy to the piglet's family. After a damaging hurricane sweeps their homes away, a clean up crew comes to help the families. Amongst the crew is an old friend of Daisy's named Shego. Shego has with her, her adopted sister, Mindy. Daisy recognizes Shego as they walk around looking at the damage created by the hurricane. All of the homes that were completely destroyed have been rebuilt. The four girls (Daisy, Donna, Shego and Mindy) all become friends and decide to do good things for other kids; they want to help them be happy. They get together and build a new orphanage, and even have NBA players come to read and play basketball with them sometimes.

About the Author

My name is Johnna Rena Diouf. I have a twin brother named Cheikh. We were born in Queens, New York where we lived with our mother until the age of seven. We then moved to Denver to live with our daddy, with whom we still live. I am now nine years old and in advanced 4th grade class with 5th graders. I love to read and learn new things; I ask a lot of questions because I want to know everything. Some other things I enjoy doing include riding my bike and playing basketball and tennis with my dad and my brother. This is my first book, so I can't wait to see it in stores.
