About the Book

Fun and fresh, a true life story of the escapades and antics of a very curious cockatiel and her human companions. For young and old alike, the reader and the audience gets a bird's eye view as Miss Jordan entertains them through the seasons.

The story unfolds in prose and rhyming verse everyone can enjoy. Fascinating animal behavior keeps her human companions company and always on guard! Her first brush with serious danger arises when she escapes the confines of her house to the wild freedom of the great out-doors during the first summer.

Summer turns to fall and the holidays bring Christmas cookies and company where she is part and parcel of the fun for family and friends. January ushers in the beginning of major cross country travel and of course, plans include a special, spoiled pet bird.

Down-sized from her two-story home with vaulted ceilings to a 26-foot travel trailer, unique changes bring amusing behavior. As spring time arrives, the curious cockatiel surprises even herself just days before Easter.

Meet Miss Jordan and keep a smile to the very end.
