About the Book

I was inspired to write this book at the time that I owned my own tour bus. While traveling on the road, I listened to many life stories of people I came across and it just gave me a simple idea to write a children's book and include my grandsons in it.

About the Author

My name is Gilbert Vasquez. I was born in a small south Texas town called Edcouch on April 20, 1947. I come from a family of five brothers and three sisters. I am in the smack dab middle of all eight -- with me it's nine. Now I reside in Alvin, Texas and have three grown children, two sons and one daughter, with their lovely mother, Rosa, also residing in Alvin, Texas. I have six grandchildren -- three girls and three boys. Things I enjoy doing are reading, writing poems, traveling, singing, and just living a simple life.
