About the Book

When Grant Elby is told that he is now legally blind, the full consequences take some time to sink in. His career as a teacher is over. The loss of his driver's license greatly curtails his independence. Being considered disabled is a heavy blow to his sense of self worth. He feels the darkness of depression closing in on him. He needs to find a safe haven to regroup and fight this demon alone.

From an abandoned family farm last worked by his grandfather, Grant begins to put the pieces together again. In the process he discovers more than he'd bargained for.

About the Author

Glenn Moyer is a husband, father, and grandfather. He holds degrees from Trent and Brock Universities. His career as an elementary teacher came to an end because of his severe vision loss which was caused by RP, a degenerative hereditary retinal disorder.

He lives in Lindsay, Ontario with his wife and their two Miniature Schnauzers. This is his first novel.
