About the Book

Already reeling from the sudden death of her beloved grandfather and her best friend moving away, 12-year-old Jill's world is spinning out of control. The only things which have helped her cope with it all is her faithful dog, the horse of her dreams, and knowing Celebrity will soon be hers.

Everything suddenly changes and her world is further torn apart when she discovers her father's market steers dead, her dog becomes deathly ill and a new girl insinuates herself in Jill's life. While on a mission to unlock the mystery behind the strange events plaguing their farm, Jill finds herself in the middle of a bizarre and dangerous situation, and wondering if she will ever get the horse her father promised her?

About the Author

A born and raised country girl, Kimberly Stoppa-England has found writing her first novel, the best way to combine her two passions; horses and writing. Kim supports what she calls "her horse habit" by writing for the Cobden Sun weekly newspaper. She is Mom to Steven, Andrea and Ashley, and lives on a farm among the kids, cows, dogs and horses, near her hometown of Cobden, Ontario.
