About the Book

After a rough day of fighting with her little sister Lilly, Riley falls into a restless sleep. She has the most incredible dream, in which she sees flowers blooming over people’s heads. The bounty of the flowers tells her how people are feeling. By the end of the dream, Riley learns that kindness brings great rewards. She wakes up with a new sense of appreciation for her little sister, and the inspiration to “plant a garden,” by being kind to others.

About the Author

The author, Noel G. Love, lives in Forest Grove, Oregon with her family. You won’t catch her working in a real garden, but she and her very supportive partner Russ are graced with the privilege of guiding three wonderful children as they grow. Riley, Skyler and Kurtis bring more exciting colors to the household than the brightest blossums. Special thanks to Anya Doll, for keeping the creativity alive, to Claire & Rachael Parker, for their undying support and friendship, and for helping turn Loving Lilly into something beautiful. Of course, the book would not be right without the gorgeous pictures, provided by Kirsty L. Fry and Judith E. Aurthur, two illustrators who promise to find huge success. (When you make it big, don’t forget where it all started!)
