About the Book

This book is a true story about a young boy named David who has learning disabilities. In the book we see his emotional struggle with being at the bottom of the class, even though he tries very hard to do the work at school. Fortunately in the first grade, his mother discovers his problem in reading and writing. With professional guidance and parental help, he is able to overcome his difficulties and understand that learning disabilities usually have nothing to do with intelligence.
