About the Book

All his life, Sam has had a big blue ball. Wherever he went, he took it with him. Sam didn’t realize how special his big blue ball was until the day the meanest bully at school took it. Sam then meets a pack of flying drool dogs and learns his big blue ball is really the key to the flying dog city.

Sam must figure out a way to stick up for himself to get the big blue ball back from the bully. If he doesn’t, the big blue ball might end up in the hands of the cats. If history repeats it’s self, that would be disastrous for the flying dogs and their city.

About the Author

A former ski racer, Alison was born and raised in Colorado and has recently made it her home again. She enjoys biking, traveling and fun adventures, especially if all three are involved. The idea for Alison’s first book, Sam and the Big Blue Ball, came while ski racing in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Alison was riding the spin bike for conditioning and friend and teammate Kirsten asked Alison to tell her a story. A blue medicine ball in front of the spin bike was the inspiration for the story. Sam is the name of another teammate’s cousin.
