About the Author
Sabat Beatto was born in the Dominican Republic. He studied acting, music and cinematography. Mr. Beatto was a theatre actor for more than 15 years in New York City. He has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Special Education. Mr. Beatto is a New York and New Jersey certifed teacher. Sabat Beatto received his patent design for his invention, the Portable Book Holder. He published his first book of poetry in Spanish language Ya Nadie Cuenta Las Estrellas. Mr. Beatto's collection of short stories Don Chu in English and Spanish will arrive to the public by the end of this year. In Lanudito, the Blind Kitten, his latest creation, Mr. Beatto brings his knowledge as a special educator. In this book the main character is a handicapped animal who, with appropriate orientation, guidance, support and education, can reach dreams in life as any normal human being.
