About the Author
Gabrielle Grace had an early calling to yoga at the age of 12 years. During her early childhood she was a student of classical ballet and later found greater fulfillment not only in the physical aspect of yoga but also in the philosophy and lifestyle.
In 1976 she met her mentor and guru, Paramahansa Swami Satyananda Saraswati whilst he was in Australia. She then travelled to India to study under his guidance for 10 years at Bihar School of Yoga, Munger.
Swami Satyananda initiated her into the dasnami order of sannyasa and she has since been known as Swami Muktibodhananda Saraswati.
During her time in India, Mukti authored and had published by Bihar School of Yoga, Swara Yoga the Tantric Science of Brain Breathing and Commentaries on Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the Light on Hatha Yoga.
