About the Book About the Author Excerpts

About the Book

Chuck Snyder and his inmate buddies at Fort Stockton are gliding through their sentences, fighting the weight of boredom as time drags on. Corporate greed and an FBI agent's obsession for revenge invade the camp in the person of two new campers, neither one there as a punishment for mistakes.

Violence and murder shatter the calm as the captive residents are all put at further risk. Chuck and his friends tread carefully through the danger as the women in their lives try desperately to help their men.

The Price of Greed is an entertaining tale featuring strong characters with intense motivation, forced to deal with circumstances beyond their control. For prison inmates it is a fact of life that must be endured. For others, particularly those accustomed to using power to get what they want, it's a dangerous handicap.

About the Author

Lou Cavaliere grew up in Philadelphia and now resides in central New Jersey with his wife Terry, and hundreds of her ceramic chickens. She insists that it's a collection, not a fetish.

A CPA by practice, a proud father and grandfather by design, The Price of Greed is his first literary work.
