About the Author

Born and brought up in Nassau, Bahamas. She immigrated to United States in 1970, settling in Tampa Florida after living for short periods of time in Cincinnati Ohio and Michigan City, Indiana. She holds a Master's degree in Public Administration as well as a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of South Florida. She has years of ministry experience and has served in various capacities including children and youth ministries. She has ministered both nationally and internationally. Dr. Howell currently serves as pastor to Northeast United Methodist Church, Tampa Florida.

Dr. Howell has two sons who currently reside in Florida. In addition to being a preacher, teacher, and writer, she has served as health care administrator, high-school Health Science teacher, College Professor and business owner. She has authored and published articles on health related issues. She has written state approved health care programs and has developed curricula for various health and religious organizations, and has served on local and national research committees. Her local, national and international ministry has given her spiritual insight of the love God has for His people which confirms that God is no respecter of persons, He loves us all.

The author has but one goal and that is to walk worthy of the vocation in which she is called. She maintains a genuine faith which enables her to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 19, 20). Her style reveals great jewels of wisdom and love.
