About the Book

Poncho, the tiger, yearns for the life of a common house cat. Then one day his dream comes true. His master takes an extended business trip and leaves Poncho with a friend, who sees no harm in allowing Poncho to share his house. Everything goes well, until Poncho is challenged by the owner's nieces and nephews, and an overweight woman who Poncho starts to imagine as a great big, juicy steak. After a fierce battle with his conscience, Poncho discovers that tigers aren't meant to be house cats after all.
