About the Author and Illustrator
Rupi Sandhu lives with her family in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Extensive traveling and teaching in different parts of the world has given her the opportunity to learn about different cultures and children's issues. Working in a multicultural environment has inspired her to write the dual-language books which promote cultural awareness and encourage children to develop a better understanding of diversity.
Rupi is also the author of the dual-language book I'm Ready To Go To My New School, which reflects the concerns of children who face challenges in various cultural environments.
Sujata Bansal is a freelance illustrator in New Delhi, India. Presently, she’s concluding her Master’s degree in History of Arts at the National Museum Institute. She worked as an art resource teacher for the Art of Living Group for children. Sujata has also worked on picture and coffee table books with publishers such as Penguin India, Puffin India, Goodword Books and the Children’s Book Trust.
